What should I do?
If a situation ever comes and i encounter hard core racist people. Should i blame it on narrow mindedness? Should I take responsibility and correct the individuals process of thinking?

It may not be so much narrow mindedness, it may be they never learned...ignorance, you know? If you feel like it...express to them how you feel about the situation...but just because you share your opinions doesn't mean they are going to change theres, but you are standing up for equality believe it or not :)
